Kennington Community Fellowship supports LIVE

Kennington Community Fellowship will be giving its full support to the youth march and rally against guns, knives and drug abuse taking place this Saturday June 7, 2008.

The day will begin with a march starting from Trafalgar Square at 12:30 in London and ending in Kennington Park where a diverse and exciting programme will unfold. Many of our members are already committed to supporting this programme and we welcome you to join us on what will be a landmark event.

The South England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (SEC) have provided the following information on the event:

Are you ready to LIVE?
We are challenging young people everywhere to Live Intentionally Vs Existing and take a stand against the negative things of youth culture that our destroying our communities and claiming the lives of our young people.

We want 5000 young people to unite against the prevailing gun and knife culture of our youth generation and march to show that there is so much in life to live for and that life is worth living.

The marchers will gather in Trafalgar Square at 12.30pm and then march through the city, across the river into Lambeth, and into the heart of some of the communities that suffer so directly from these issues. From there we head to Kennington Park for an afternoon inspirational free Youth Rally from 3.30pm - 5.30pm.

The program will feature the best of youth talent; moving personal stories, drama, American Style Steppers and powerful singing from groups, bands and choirs.All are welcome so spread the word!
